13:9 For the commandments, 1 “Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not covet,” 2 (and if there is any other commandment) are summed up in this, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 3 13:10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
14:15 Then, during the night, 1 Abram 2 divided his forces 3 against them and defeated them. He chased them as far as Hobah, which is north 4 of Damascus. 14:19 He blessed Abram, saying,
“Blessed be Abram by 5 the Most High God,
Creator 6 of heaven and earth. 7
14:21 Then the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people and take the possessions for yourself.”
