Bible: Rom. 12:1-2; 13:11-14

Consecration of the Believer’s Life

12:1 Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, 1  by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice – alive, holy, and pleasing to God 2 which is your reasonable service. 12:2 Do not be conformed 3  to this present world, 4  but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve 5  what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

13:11 Lot chose for himself the whole region of the Jordan and traveled 1  toward the east.

So the relatives separated from each other. 2  13:12 Abram settled in the land of Canaan, but Lot settled among the cities of the Jordan plain 3  and pitched his tents next to Sodom. 13:13 (Now 4  the people 5  of Sodom were extremely wicked rebels against the Lord.) 6

13:14 After Lot had departed, the Lord said to Abram, 7 Look 8  from the place where you stand to the north, south, east, and west.
