9:1 Then 1  the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky 2  to the earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the abyss. 3  9:2 He 4  opened the shaft of the abyss and smoke rose out of it 5  like smoke from a giant furnace. The 6  sun and the air were darkened with smoke from the shaft. 9:11 They have as king over them the angel of the abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon. 7 

11:7 Come, let’s go down and confuse 1  their language so they won’t be able to understand each other.” 2 

17:8 I will give the whole land of Canaan – the land where you are now residing 1 to you and your descendants after you as a permanent 2  possession. I will be their God.”

Abraham and Abimelech

20:1 Abraham journeyed from there to the Negev 1  region and settled between Kadesh and Shur. While he lived as a temporary resident 2  in Gerar,

20:3 But God appeared 3  to Abimelech in a dream at night and said to him, “You are as good as dead 4  because of the woman you have taken, for she is someone else’s wife.” 5
