Psalm 23

23:1 A psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd,

I lack nothing.

23:2 He takes me to lush pastures,

he leads me to refreshing water.

23:4 Even when I must walk through the darkest valley,

I fear no danger,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff reassure me. 1 

1:13 There was evening, and there was morning, a third day.

1:5 God called 1  the light “day” and the darkness 2  “night.” There was evening, and there was morning, marking the first day. 3 

1:6 God said, “Let there be an expanse 4  in the midst of the waters and let it separate water 5  from water.
