130:3 If you, O Lord, were to keep track of ¹  sins,

O Lord, who could stand before you? ² 

130:4 But ³  you are willing to forgive, ⁴ 

so that you might ⁵  be honored. ⁶ 

130:5 I rely on ⁷  the Lord,

I rely on him with my whole being; ⁸ 

I wait for his assuring word. ⁹ 

130:6 I yearn for the Lord, ¹⁰ 

more than watchmen do for the morning,

yes, more than watchmen do for the morning. ¹¹ 

130:7 O Israel, hope in the Lord,

for the Lord exhibits loyal love, ¹² 

and is more than willing to deliver. ¹³ 

130:8 He will deliver ¹⁴  Israel

from all the consequences of their sins. ¹⁵ 

1:2 Now ¹  the earth ²  was without shape and empty, ³  and darkness ⁴  was over the surface of the watery deep, ⁵  but the Spirit of God ⁶  was moving ⁷  over the surface ⁸  of the water. ⁹
