3:5 Trust ¹  in the Lord with all your heart, ² 

and do not rely ³  on your own understanding. ⁴ 

3:6 Acknowledge ⁵  him in all your ways, ⁶ 

and he will make your paths straight. ⁷ 

3:7 Do not be wise in your own estimation; ⁸ 

fear the Lord and turn away from evil. ⁹ 

3:8 This will bring ¹⁰  healing to your body, ¹¹ 

and refreshment ¹²  to your inner self. ¹³
