3:18 She is like 1  a tree of life 2  to those who obtain her, 3

and everyone who grasps hold of her will be blessed. 4

3:22 So 5  they will give 6  life to you, 7

and grace to adorn 8  your neck. 9

4:18 To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father 1  of Mehujael. Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.

4:19 Lamech took two wives for himself; the name of the first was Adah, and the name of the second was Zillah.

5:22 After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 1  for 300 years, 2  and he had other 3  sons and daughters. 5:23 The entire lifetime of Enoch was 365 years.

8:1 But God remembered 1  Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over 2  the earth and the waters receded.

9:10 and with every living creature that is with you, including the birds, the domestic animals, and every living creature of the earth with you, all those that came out of the ark with you – every living creature of the earth. 1  9:11 I confirm 2  my covenant with you: Never again will all living things 3  be wiped out 4  by the waters of a flood; 5  never again will a flood destroy the earth.”

9:12 And God said, “This is the guarantee 6  of the covenant I am making 7  with you 8  and every living creature with you, a covenant 9  for all subsequent 10  generations: 9:13 I will place 11  my rainbow 12  in the clouds, and it will become 13  a guarantee of the covenant between me and the earth. 9:14 Whenever 14  I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 9:15 then I will remember my covenant with you 15  and with all living creatures of all kinds. 16  Never again will the waters become a flood and destroy 17  all living things. 18  9:16 When the rainbow is in the clouds, I will notice it and remember 19  the perpetual covenant between God and all living creatures of all kinds that are on the earth.”

9:17 So God said to Noah, “This is the guarantee of the covenant that I am confirming between me and all living things 20  that are on the earth.”
