Bible: Proverbs 11:23-25; 14:21; 17:5; 21:26; 29:7

11:23 What the righteous desire 1  leads 2  only to good,

but what the wicked hope for 3  leads 4  to wrath.

11:24 One person is generous 5  and yet grows more wealthy, 6

but another withholds more than he should 7  and comes to poverty. 8

11:25 A generous person 9  will be enriched, 10

and the one who provides water 11  for others 12  will himself be satisfied. 13

14:21 Then the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people and take the possessions for yourself.”

17:5 No longer will your name be 1  Abram. Instead, your name will be Abraham 2  because I will make you 3  the father of a multitude of nations.
21:26 I do not know who has done this thing,” Abimelech replied. “Moreover, 1  you did not tell me. I did not hear about it until today.”

29:7 Then Jacob 1  said, “Since it is still the middle of the day, 2  it is not time for the flocks to be gathered. You should water the sheep and then go and let them graze some more.” 3
