Bible: Prov. 16:27; 17:4, 27; 18:8, 21; 21:23; 26:30

16:27 A wicked scoundrel 1  digs up 2  evil,

and his slander 3  is like a scorching fire. 4

17:4 As for me, 1  this 2  is my covenant with you: You will be the father of a multitude of nations. 17:27 All the men of his household, whether born in his household or bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised with him.

18:8 Abraham 1  then took some curds and milk, along with the calf that had been prepared, and placed the food 2  before them. They ate while 3  he was standing near them under a tree.

18:21 that I must go down 4  and see if they are as wicked as the outcry suggests. 5  If not, 6  I want to know.”

21:23 Now swear to me right here in God’s name 1  that you will not deceive me, my children, or my descendants. 2  Show me, and the land 3  where you are staying, 4  the same loyalty 5  that I have shown you.” 6

26:30 So Isaac 1  held a feast for them and they celebrated. 2
