Bible: Matthew 1:22; 2:15, 17, 23; 4:14; 8:17; 12:17; 13:35; 21:4

1:22 This all happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:

2:15 The Lord God took the man and placed 1  him in the orchard in 2  Eden to care for it and to maintain it. 3  2:17 but 4  you must not eat 5  from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when 6  you eat from it you will surely die.” 7

2:23 Then the man said,

This one at last 8  is bone of my bones

and flesh of my flesh;

this one will be called 9 woman,’

for she was taken out of 10  man.” 11

4:14 Look! You are driving me off the land 1  today, and I must hide from your presence. 2  I will be a homeless wanderer on the earth; whoever finds me will kill me.”
8:17 Bring out with you all the living creatures that are with you. Bring out 1  every living thing, including the birds, animals, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Let them increase 2  and be fruitful and multiply on the earth! 3

12:17 But the Lord struck Pharaoh and his household with severe diseases 1  because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.

Abram’s Solution to the Strife

13:1 So Abram went up from Egypt into the Negev. 1  He took his wife and all his possessions with him, as well as Lot. 2

21:4 When his son Isaac was eight days old, 1  Abraham circumcised him just as God had commanded him to do. 2
