The Birth of Isaac

21:1 The Lord visited 1  Sarah just as he had said he would and did 2  for Sarah what he had promised. 3 

22:6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and put it on his son Isaac. Then he took the fire and the knife in his hand, 1  and the two of them walked on together.

Isaac and Abimelech

26:1 There was a famine in the land, subsequent to the earlier famine that occurred 1  in the days of Abraham. 2  Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines at Gerar.

28:9 So Esau went to Ishmael and married 1  Mahalath, the sister of Nebaioth and daughter of Abraham’s son Ishmael, along with the wives he already had.
