7:3 When the centurion 1  heard 2  about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders 3  to him, asking him to come 4  and heal his slave. 7:9 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed 5  at him. He turned and said to the crowd that followed him, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith! 6  7:29 (Now 7  all the people who heard this, even the tax collectors, 8  acknowledged 9  God’s justice, because they had been baptized 10  with John’s baptism.

8:1 But God remembered 1  Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over 2  the earth and the waters receded.

14:15 Then, during the night, 1  Abram 2  divided his forces 3  against them and defeated them. He chased them as far as Hobah, which is north 4  of Damascus.

18:22 The two men turned 1  and headed 2  toward Sodom, but Abraham was still standing before the Lord. 3  18:23 Abraham approached and said, “Will you sweep away the godly along with the wicked?

Three Special Visitors

18:1 The Lord appeared to Abraham 4  by the oaks 5  of Mamre while 6  he was sitting at the entrance 7  to his tent during the hottest time of the day.

23:6 Listen, sir, 1  you are a mighty prince 2  among us! You may bury your dead in the choicest of our tombs. None of us will refuse you his tomb to prevent you 3  from burying your dead.”
