Bible: Leviticus 7:20-21; 17:8-10; 18:29; 20:3,5,6,17,18; 22:3,24; 23:29; 26:30

7:20 The person who eats meat from the peace offering sacrifice which belongs to the Lord while his uncleanness persists 1  will be cut off from his people. 2  7:21 When a person touches anything unclean (whether human uncleanness, or an unclean animal, or an unclean detestable creature) 3  and eats some of the meat of the peace offering sacrifice which belongs to the Lord, that person will be cut off from his people.’ 4

17:8 I will give the whole land of Canaan – the land where you are now residing 1 to you and your descendants after you as a permanent 2  possession. I will be their God.”

17:9 Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep 3  the covenantal requirement 4  I am imposing on you and your descendants after you throughout their generations. 17:10 This is my requirement that you and your descendants after you must keep: 5  Every male among you must be circumcised. 6

18:29 Abraham 1  spoke to him again, 2 What if forty are found there?” He replied, “I will not do it for the sake of the forty.”

20:3 But God appeared 1  to Abimelech in a dream at night and said to him, “You are as good as dead 2  because of the woman you have taken, for she is someone else’s wife.” 3

20:5 Did Abraham 4  not say to me, ‘She is my sister? And she herself said, 5 He is my brother.’ I have done this with a clear conscience 6  and with innocent hands!

20:6 Then in the dream God replied to him, “Yes, I know that you have done this with a clear conscience. 7  That is why I have kept you 8  from sinning against me and why 9  I did not allow you to touch her.

20:17 Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, as well as his wife and female slaves so that they were able to have children. 20:18 For the Lord 10  had caused infertility to strike every woman 11  in the household of Abimelech because he took 12  Sarah, Abraham’s wife.

22:3 Early in the morning Abraham got up and saddled his donkey. 1  He took two of his young servants with him, along with his son Isaac. When he had cut the wood for the burnt offering, he started out 2  for the place God had spoken to him about.

22:24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore him children – Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.
