Bible: Lev. 16:29; 17:12, 15; 18:26; 19:33-34; 25:35

Review of the Day of Atonement

16:29This is to be a perpetual statute for you. 1  In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you must humble yourselves 2  and do no work of any kind, 3  both the native citizen and the foreigner who resides 4  in your midst,

17:12 Throughout your generations every male among you who is eight days old 1  must be circumcised, whether born in your house or bought with money from any foreigner who is not one of your descendants.

17:15 Then God said to Abraham, “As for your wife, you must no longer call her Sarai; 2  Sarah 3  will be her name.

18:26 So the Lord replied, “If I find in the city of Sodom fifty godly people, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

19:33 So that night they made their father drunk with wine, 1  and the older daughter 2  came and had sexual relations with her father. 3  But he was not aware that she had sexual relations with him and then got up. 4  19:34 So in the morning the older daughter 5  said to the younger, “Since I had sexual relations with my father last night, let’s make him drunk again tonight. 6  Then you go and have sexual relations with him so we can preserve our family line through our father.” 7

The Death of Abraham

25:1 Abraham had taken 1  another 2  wife, named Keturah.
