2:18 So then the Jewish leaders 1  responded, 2 What sign can you show us, since you are doing these things? 3  2:19 Jesus replied, 4 Destroy 5  this temple and in three days I will raise it up again.” 2:20 Then the Jewish leaders 6  said to him, “This temple has been under construction 7  for forty-six years, 8  and are you going to raise it up in three days? 2:21 But Jesus 9  was speaking about the temple of his body. 10  2:22 So after he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the scripture 11  and the saying 12  that Jesus had spoken.

3:14 The Lord God said to the serpent, 1 

“Because you have done this,

cursed 2  are you above all the wild beasts

and all the living creatures of the field!

On your belly you will crawl 3 

and dust you will eat 4  all the days of your life.

3:15 And I will put hostility 5  between you and the woman

and between your offspring and her offspring; 6 

her offspring will attack 7  your head,

and 8  you 9  will attack her offspring’s heel.” 10 

10:14 Pathrusites, 1  Casluhites 2  (from whom the Philistines came), 3  and Caphtorites. 4 

10:15 Canaan was the father of 5  Sidon his firstborn, 6  Heth, 7  10:16 the Jebusites, 8  Amorites, 9  Girgashites, 10  10:17 Hivites, 11  Arkites, 12  Sinites, 13  10:18 Arvadites, 14  Zemarites, 15  and Hamathites. 16  Eventually the families of the Canaanites were scattered
