Bible: John 1:14, 18; 3:16-18; 6:63; 14:6
1:14 Now 1 the Word became flesh 2 and took up residence 3 among us. We 4 saw his glory – the glory of the one and only, 5 full of grace and truth, who came from the Father. 1:18 No one has ever seen God. The only one, 6 himself God, who is in closest fellowship with 7 the Father, has made God 8 known. 9
3:16 To the woman he said,
with pain you will give birth to children.
You will want to control your husband, 3
but he will dominate 4 you.”
3:17 But to Adam 5 he said,
“Because you obeyed 6 your wife
and ate from the tree about which I commanded you,
‘You must not eat from it,’
in painful toil you will eat 9 of it all the days of your life.
3:18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
but you will eat the grain 10 of the field.
