1:14 Now 1 the Word became flesh 2 and took up residence 3 among us. 3:16 To the woman he said,

“Because you obeyed 6 your wife

‘You must not eat from it,’

in painful toil you will eat 9 of it all the days of your life.
3:18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
