Bible: Jer 5:3; 15:7; 23:14; 34:16

5:3 Lord, I know you look for faithfulness. 1 

But even when you punish these people, they feel no remorse. 2 

Even when you nearly destroy them, they refuse to be corrected.

They have become as hardheaded as a rock. 3 

They refuse to change their ways. 4 

15:7 The Lord said 1  to him, “I am the Lord 2  who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans 3  to give you this land to possess.”

23:14 Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him,

34:16 Then we will give 1  you our daughters to marry, 2  and we will take your daughters as wives for ourselves, and we will live among you and become one people.
