43:11 I, I am the Lord,

and there is no deliverer besides me.

43:12 I decreed and delivered and proclaimed,

and there was no other god among you.

You are my witnesses,” says the Lord, “that I am God.

43:13 From this day forward I am he;

no one can deliver from my power; 1 

I will act, and who can prevent it?

44:17 But Joseph said, “Far be it from me to do this! The man in whose hand the cup was found will become my slave, but the rest of 1  you may go back 2  to your father in peace.”

44:18 Then Judah approached him and said, “My lord, please allow your servant to speak a word with you. 3  Please do not get angry with your servant, 4  for you are just like Pharaoh. 5  44:19 My lord asked his servants, ‘Do you have a father or a brother?’ 44:20 We said to my lord, ‘We have an aged father, and there is a young boy who was born when our father was old. 6  The boy’s 7  brother is dead. He is the only one of his mother’s sons left, 8  and his father loves him.’

46:1 So Israel began his journey, taking with him all that he had. 1  When he came to Beer Sheba 2  he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. 46:2 God spoke to Israel in a vision during the night 3  and said, “Jacob, Jacob!” He replied, “Here I am!
