The Lord Will Judge Babylon

This is a message about Babylon that God revealed to Isaiah son of Amoz: 2 

The Blessing of Victory for God’s People

14:1 At that time 1  Amraphel king of Shinar, 2  Arioch king of Ellasar, Kedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations 3 

The Cutting of the Covenant

15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram! I am your shield 1  and the one who will reward you in great abundance.” 2 

The Sign of the Covenant

17:1 When Abram was 99 years old, 1  the Lord appeared to him and said, 2 I am the sovereign God. 3  Walk 4  before me 5  and be blameless. 6 

The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

19:1 The two angels came to Sodom in the evening while 1  Lot was sitting in the city’s gateway. 2  When Lot saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face toward the ground.

The Birth of Isaac

21:1 The Lord visited 1  Sarah just as he had said he would and did 2  for Sarah what he had promised. 3 

21:11 Sarah’s demand displeased Abraham greatly because Ishmael was his son. 4  21:13 But I will also make the son of the slave wife into a great nation, for he is your descendant too.”

The Sacrifice of Isaac

22:1 Some time after these things God tested 1  Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am!” Abraham 2  replied.

The Death of Sarah

23:1 Sarah lived 127 years. 1 

30:6 Then Rachel said, “God has vindicated me. He has responded to my prayer 1  and given me a son.” That is why 2  she named him Dan. 3
