1:27 God created humankind ¹  in his own image,

in the image of God he created them, ² 

male and female he created them. ³ 

“This one at last ³  is bone of my bones

and flesh of my flesh;

this one will be called ⁴  ‘woman,’

for she was taken out of ⁵  man.” ⁶
