18:3 He said, “My lord, 1  if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by and leave your servant. 2 

19:19 Your 1  servant has found favor with you, 2  and you have shown me great 3  kindness 4  by sparing 5  my life. But I am not able to escape to the mountains because 6  this disaster will overtake 7  me and I’ll die. 8 

30:27 But Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your sight, please stay here, 1  for I have learned by divination 2  that the Lord has blessed me on account of you.”

32:6 The messengers returned to Jacob and said, “We went to your brother Esau. He is coming to meet you and has four hundred men with him.”

33:8 Esau 1  then asked, “What did you intend 2  by sending all these herds to meet me?” 3  Jacob 4  replied, “To find favor in your sight, my lord.” 33:10 No, please take them,” Jacob said. 5 If I have found favor in your sight, accept 6  my gift from my hand. Now that I have seen your face and you have accepted me, 7  it is as if I have seen the face of God. 8 

33:15 So Esau said, “Let me leave some of my men with you.” 9  “Why do that?” Jacob replied. 10 My lord has already been kind enough to me.” 11 

34:11 Then Shechem said to Dinah’s 1  father and brothers, “Let me find favor in your sight, and whatever you require of me 2  I’ll give. 3 

39:4 So Joseph found favor in his sight and became his personal attendant. 1  Potiphar appointed Joseph 2  overseer of his household and put him in charge 3  of everything he owned.

39:21 But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him kindness. 4  He granted him favor in the sight of the prison warden. 5 

47:25 They replied, “You have saved our lives! You are showing us favor, 1  and we will be Pharaoh’s slaves.” 2 

47:29 The time 3  for Israel to die approached, so he called for his son Joseph and said to him, “If now I have found favor in your sight, put your hand under my thigh 4  and show me kindness and faithfulness. 5  Do not bury me in Egypt,

50:4 When the days of mourning 1  had passed, Joseph said to Pharaoh’s royal court, 2 If I have found favor in your sight, please say to Pharaoh, 3
