7:20 Furthermore, the Lord your God will release hornets 1  among them until the very last ones who hide from you 2  perish.

11:8 So the Lord scattered them from there across the face of the entire earth, and they stopped building 1  the city. 11:9 That is why its name was called 2  Babel 3 because there the Lord confused the language of the entire world, and from there the Lord scattered them across the face of the entire earth.

The Genealogy of Shem

11:10 This is the account of Shem.

Shem was 100 old when he became the father of Arphaxad, two years after the flood. 11:11 And after becoming the father of Arphaxad, Shem lived 500 years and had other 4  sons and daughters.

11:12 When Arphaxad had lived 35 years, he became the father of Shelah. 11:13 And after he became the father of Shelah, Arphaxad lived 403 years and had other 5  sons and daughters. 6 

11:14 When Shelah had lived 30 years, he became the father of Eber. 11:15 And after he became the father of Eber, Shelah lived 403 years and had other 7  sons and daughters.

11:16 When Eber had lived 34 years, he became the father of Peleg. 11:17 And after he became the father of Peleg, Eber lived 430 years and had other sons and daughters.

25:4 The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were descendants 1  of Keturah.

28:12 and had a dream. 1  He saw 2  a stairway 3  erected on the earth with its top reaching to the heavens. The angels of God were going up and coming down it

28:1 So Isaac called for Jacob and blessed him. Then he commanded him, “You must not marry a Canaanite woman! 4
