Reminder of the Horeb Covenant
4:9 Again, however, pay very careful attention, 1 lest you forget the things you have seen and disregard them for the rest of your life; instead teach them to your children and grandchildren. 4:23 Be on guard so that you do not forget the covenant of the Lord your God that he has made with you, and that you do not make an image of any kind, just as he 2 has forbidden 3 you. 4:31 (for he 4 is a merciful God), he will not let you down 5 or destroy you, for he cannot 6 forget the covenant with your ancestors that he confirmed by oath to them.
6:12 God saw the earth, and indeed 1 it was ruined, 2 for all living creatures 3 on the earth were sinful. 4 8:11 When 1 the dove returned to him in the evening, there was 2 a freshly plucked olive leaf in its beak! Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth. 8:14 And by the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth 3 was dry. 8:19 Every living creature, every creeping thing, every bird, and everything that moves on the earth went out of the ark in their groups. 9:7 But as for you, 1 be fruitful and multiply; increase abundantly on the earth and multiply on it.”
