Bible: Acts 15:28-29; 21:20-25

15:28 For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us 1  not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules: 2  15:29 that you abstain from meat that has been sacrificed to idols 3  and from blood and from what has been strangled 4  and from sexual immorality. 5  If you keep yourselves from doing these things, 6  you will do well. Farewell. 7

21:20 God was with the boy as he grew. He lived in the wilderness and became an archer. 21:21 He lived in the wilderness of Paran. 1  His mother found a wife for him from the land of Egypt. 2

21:22 At that time Abimelech and Phicol, the commander of his army, said to Abraham, “God is with you 3  in all that you do. 21:23 Now swear to me right here in God’s name 4  that you will not deceive me, my children, or my descendants. 5  Show me, and the land 6  where you are staying, 7  the same loyalty 8  that I have shown you.” 9

21:24 Abraham said, “I swear to do this.” 10  21:25 But Abraham lodged a complaint 11  against Abimelech concerning a well 12  that Abimelech’s servants had seized. 13
