Brazen and insolent, ²  they are not afraid to insult ³  the glorious ones, ⁴  2:11 yet even ⁵  angels, who are much more powerful, ⁶  do not bring a slanderous ⁷  judgment against them before the Lord. ⁸  2:12 But ⁹  these men, ¹⁰  like irrational animals – creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed ¹¹  – do not understand whom ¹²  they are insulting, and consequently ¹³  in their destruction they will be destroyed, ¹⁴  2:13 suffering harm as the wages for their harmful ways. ¹⁵  By considering it a pleasure to carouse in broad daylight, ¹⁶  they are stains and blemishes, indulging ¹⁷  in their deceitful pleasures when they feast together with you.
