1:3 I can pray this because his divine power 1  has bestowed on us everything necessary 2  for life and godliness through the rich knowledge 3  of the one who called 4  us by 5  his own glory and excellence. 1:6 to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; 6  to perseverance, godliness; 1:7 to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish 7  love. 8 

3:11 And the Lord God 1  said, “Who told you that you were naked? 2  Did you eat from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” 3
