Bible: 1 John 2:15-16; 4:5; 5:4

2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, 2:16 because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) 1  is not from the Father, but is from the world.

4:5 but with Cain and his offering he was not pleased. 1  So Cain became very angry, 2  and his expression was downcast. 3 

5:4 The length of time Adam lived 1  after he became the father of Seth was 800 years; during this time he had 2  other 3  sons and daughters.
